When designing our sofa protectors, we focused on an ultra durable hook that was easy to install yet, strong enough to keep the cover securely in place. In addition, our covers feature thick 2" straps with an adjustable slider for a perfect fit. Measure from inside arm to inside arm. If you find your furniture is in between our sizing guidelines, we recommend you size up. A little bit of excess fabric can be tucked in and will help keep the cover in. While our covers are great for protecting fabric furniture, they are not recommended for use on leather furniture. Using it on leather furniture will result in the cover slipping, ultimately reducing your level of protection. This particular item is a bit wider than our queen sleep sofa (at 70") but it's the closest product (size) we could find. Since we're using it on our sleep sofa, the back portion of the cover is very long and we just folded it over the back of the sofa and thus didn't need the straps (which is a good thing). The arm portion drapes well over (which we like as it covers the arm area real well!). The reversible color gives a bit of flexibility however we prefer the light grey (light grey/dark grey combo). For those considering a sofa cover, this one is worth a try if your sizing needs apply. So far this is a winner (and keeper). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Happy to have this slip cover *by on Reviewed in the United States September 13, 2026* I love it. It's a nice material, the dog jumped right on too. I haven't washed it yet but it seems like it will wash just fine. I do wish they made one for the ottoman. I ordered a second slip cover in the same size and it works ok, but one side is very long. The pics reflect different colors, they're not. The one with the dog shows the accurate hunter green color. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great cover, strap not so great *by on Reviewed in the United States April 1, 2026* This is a very nice cover and would get 5 stars if the elastic strap worked better. The connectors on the strap to the cover disconnect from the cover easily and can be a little hazardous when the strap flies off. If the connector wasn’t open in the middle, it would stay on better. The strap isn’t necessary, but would be helpful in keeping the cover on the couch if it were more reliable.Other that the strap issue, this is a nice cover and the second one I have gotten. I recommend getting it bigger than the size of your couch so you can tuck it in around the cushions. So far, it is saving my couch from destruction! ## Frequently Bought Together - Sofa Shield Couch Slip Cover with Patented Strap, Cushion Protector, Reversible Stain and Dog Tear Resistant Slipcover, Quilted Microfiber 70” Seat, Washable Covers for Dogs Pets Kids, Burgundy Tan - NICETOWN Gray Blackout Curtains for Bedroom 84 inches Long - Thermal Curtains & Drapes Grommet Room Darkening Curtains Noise Reducing Window Treatments for Living Room (2 Panels, W52 x L84, Grey) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.de/products/12422417-sofa-shield-couch-covers-for-sofa-with-strap-burgundy-tan](https://www.desertcart.de/products/12422417-sofa-shield-couch-covers-for-sofa-with-strap-burgundy-tan) --- *Product available on Desertcart Germany* *Store origin: DE* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
