This model will have some challenges and thick slow drying model glue wont work great with this kit. This is of coarse my opinion ... good luck **Q: Please advise as to what kind of paint to use?** A: Tamiya or Vallejo paint brands but not sure of the exact colors **Q: Is the engine detailed to wear you can see the turnos** A: The turbos are separate pieces however they are not extremely detailed.
