I just used it on a 5 day camping trip with my family and it was great to have and very handy to have. **Q: what are the squeeze tubes for?** A: Cooking oils, vinegar or other liquid cooking essentials. **Q: are the dimensions of the set once it is zipped up, or opened up?** A: The product dimensions are the item when it's zipped up. Mine is actually only 3" thick and I have it stuffed with extras so I think 3.5" is the maximum thickness.
