They work well on pretty thick corrugated cardboard, but I haven't tried anything thicker than one sheet. **Q: Can left handed people use it comfortably?** A: I am sorry. I am 100% right handed. I just tried them with my left hand, though. It seems to me that they should work fine with the left hand too. No, I don't think it would be easy but I do think they would do it. **Q: can you cut with craft sticks?** A: I was able to cut a popsicle size craft stick in half, widthwise. It wasn't easy, took a strong grasp and the pieces shot out when cut. One piece cracked as well. When I tried cutting lengthwise, again not easy and one whole side cracked. I'd stick to cardboard with these.
