It's a game changer, ESPECIALLY if you're someone who uses his pen a lot at intervals throughout the day, and find yourself putting it away for a few minutes before needing it again I can't believe more high end pens don't do this, or that Cross hasn't incorporated this into other pens in their line. As far as the pen itself, it's been covered pretty well by others. It writes great, it is customizable with ink and tip, and it looks fantastic. Pro tip though. If you get this pen and hand it to someone else to use while it's closed, I guarantee that person will twist the hell out of it trying to open it not realizing it's a pull open pen. The pen has held up under multiple people doing this, including a few times they really tried cranking on it, but continuous "abuse" like this will loosen up the open mechanism a bit, making it a little shaky and not as solid. Side note....this pen is on the medium/large size, which is perfect for me as I have big hands and long fingers, but I could see this being a bit large to hold comfortably for those with smaller hands.
