Review: BEST PLUSHIE EVER!! :D - this is one of the best plushies I have! the legs are floppy but stiffer than other 16 inch douglas dogs, making it a great walker! the brown fur is soft, but the black fur is a bit scratchy and plasticy. it is pretty big compared to my 12 inch august golden retriever, but still small enough to fit in a bag or large purse. this is a great essa! (emotional support stuffed animal) when you take it out of the package, a large amount of shedding is normal, so brush it daily with a pet brush to minimize the shedding and prevent matting. btw the plushie doesn't come with any gear or customization, so if you want gear, buy sizes xs or xxs depending on the product. also use acrylic or alcohol markers to customize. overall, this plushie is really cute and is a great essa! (I already said what it stands for :D) I really enjoy this plushie and I will probably be back for another douglas! (btw if you cant find a name for it some ideas are sage, maple, honey, duke, fern, and whatever you think of :D) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001VIMSXM | | Age Range Description | 24 Months | | Animal Theme | Dog | | Are Batteries Required | No | | Best Sellers Rank | #423,103 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #21,345 in Stuffed Animals | | Brand | Douglas | | Collection Name | Dog Breeds | | Colour | Brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 1,198 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00767548118115 | | Is Assembly Required | No | | Is Autographed | No | | Item Dimensions | 40 x 30 x 20 Centimeters | | Item Weight | 0.61 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Cuddle Toys | | Manufacturer Part Number | 2058 | | Material | Plush | | Model Name | German Shepherd | | Model Number | 2058 | | Number Of Pieces | 1 | | Number of Batteries | Unknown batteries required. | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Outer Material Type | Plush | | Play Activity Location | Floor | | Size | 16 inches | | Style Name | Modern | | Theme | Animal | | Toy Figure Type | Stuffed Toy | | UPC | 767548118115 783329487768 | | character | German Shepherd | ## Images ![General German Shepherd 14" by Douglas Cuddle Toys - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81jFg9P-GcL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Need this for a costume. Is the ball shown stiched on, or does it detach?** A: The Ball is just in the photo... It does not come with the stuffed dog. You will only receive the dog if you order this product. **Q: Does ball come attached to dog? I don't want that.** A: No the ball isn't attached to the dog so if you order the dog you get the dog and the dog only **Q: Is the light color more blond, brown, or red? I have a Golden/Shep mix and trying to see if this pup might be a good match.** A: The light color is hard to describe but to me it is a warm gold color that matches our real life German Shepherd. **Q: What is the overall size of this item?** A: It has been a few months since I ordered it but if I remember correctly it was about 12 inches long and 9 to 10 inches tall. I was very impressed with the size and quality of this item. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Luv it! *by I***R on 2 September 2026* Super cute love it tho the fur on its back is abit more itchy so not sure if for everyone still i luv it!!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BEST PLUSHIE EVER!! :D *by D***A on 30 August 2026* this is one of the best plushies I have! the legs are floppy but stiffer than other 16 inch douglas dogs, making it a great walker! the brown fur is soft, but the black fur is a bit scratchy and plasticy. it is pretty big compared to my 12 inch august golden retriever, but still small enough to fit in a bag or large purse. this is a great essa!
