The base clips right into your car air vent, using a 4-prong rubber reinforced clip, that leaves no lasting damage and is quick to remove if needed. In the base is a strong magnet, and when paired with the metal plate (2 kinds included), creates a strong hold to ensure your phone stays put, no matter the road conditions or quick turns. The small metal plate can be mounted directly on the back of the phone, or even slipped between phone and whatever case is on it. The magnet also allows you to orient the phone in any direction you'd like, horizontal, vertical, and anything in between. Perfect for GPS map navigation, music selection, etc.
