    Make it island every day with Para Hita Red Rice

Para Hita, thank you for "making it island" even in winter!A few years ago, on the day of my niece's wedding, the groom's family arrived from Guam, rolled up their sleeves, heated up the grills, started rolling Lumpia, turned on the rice cookers, and thus was I introduced to "making it island!" Since then, I've looked forward to every family dinner for the red rice and Finadenne sauce. Now, thanks to Para Hita, I can make red rice myself as delicious as that made by Momma Doris at my niece's wedding.

Sadly, I don't know the ingredients on how to make Red Rice, so I bought this as a convenience and to try it out. I liked it! Pretty simple following the instructions.  I bought two and had it with BBQ chicken and Ribs. Island style food.

We made this rice as a side for our supper. It has a mild flavor, but is easily (and most deliciously) kicked up a notch with the same company’s hot sauce. My two young children loved the rice (without the addition of the hot sauce for them)—I should have prepared two packages instead of one. Usually they don’t both like a food this much!
