Hi my mum is a 40 waist and they do fit her, They have quite a bit of room on the sides. hope this helps

They are Totally plastic, they are nearly the same as the old ones they used to make.

Q: Does anyone have problems with leaks around the legs in bed or at the waist with these please ??

No they are very absorbant and secure in the way they fit so no problems with leaks I prefer tena slip maxi for night and super for daytime.
