I have been using RX Vitamins for years. My two dogs, Topogijo and Roxi are getting older and they have developed sensitive stomachs - loose stools, digestion. They take RX Essential Vitamins since I cook their food from scratch - only organic. However they have been having issues with digestion and bowels. Vet uses RX Vitamins for his dogs and he recommended RX Zyme. WOW!! After a month what a difference. No loose stools, no digestion problems. I would recommend this product to any dog owner that is having the same problems. That being said ALWAYS check with your vet.

It's hard to determine if vitamins are truly beneficial, but my veterinarian recommended RxZyme since I've been making my dog's food for the last 7 years. I stopped using commercially produced dog food following the melamine contamination several years ago. Prior to that, my dog had several episodes annually of vomiting/diarrhea, which the vet said was probably an inflammatory bowel problem. So, I switched to the following home-prepared diet: ground turkey + chopped carrots + celery, all sauteed in olive oil, fresh pureed sweet potato, chicken broth, RxZyme, and Vetri-Science Perio-support Powder. Occasionally, I'll add in some fresh avocado. She's been happy and healthy ever since and only had about 3 vomiting episodes in 7 years, compared to 3 every year.UPDATE: I'm still using the product and dog is still in excellent health.THANKS TO COMMENTERS: about avoiding avocado. While my dog hasn't suffered any ill effects, subsequent research revealed the same information as the commenters.
