Received as described. Good box to organize tools, screwdrivers, various plyers, hammer, combo wrenches, std and metric, with space to spare on top. Purchased tool liners to hold tools in place and not to slide around. Glad it has metal handle, but fully loaded, I hold it from bottom, so I have not tested handle Perfect for fix it DYIer box for the home.

Amazing for getting tools neat and organized. Great for people that may not have space for a full size tool cabinet like me. Offers portability with a sturdy metal handle and comes with a key for security. I got some tool drawer liners and socket organizers that fit perfectly. 10/10 don’t know why I didn’t buy one sooner.

Good quality, doors roll smoothly.

I decided to finally combine and sort my scattered tool kit, which was based on an old Craftsman "starter" kit but just kept multiplying and had outgrown the big plastic case that came with my kit. I wanted something that could somewhat organize my kit, keep everything in one place, allow a little room for growth but not so big that I couldn't move it place to place anymore. I went with this GW box because I have a few GW combo and ratcheting wrenches that I've been happy with. 1. Country of Origin: Mine came in a box labeled as "Made in China". Some forums claim that GW tool boxes are made in Taiwan - not this one. See photo. 2. Top Compartment: There are exactly trays, cantilever or otherwise, in the top compartment. There is simply the large, deep compartment spanning the width of the box. That's it. 3. Sturdiness: The "locking" latches are quite a joke. If you're gentle with your kit and don't overload the thing, these may hold up in the long run. If not, they are so loose and so flimsy that a heavier loadout and some rougher handling will tear these things apart in no time. The drawers slide in and out nice and smooth, but the detent at the very back (closing) takes a little more shove than it should to get the drawers to close fully and be able to lock. 4. Capacity: holds my old Craftsman kit 200-something piece kit, a bunch of throwaway screwdrivers, impact driver kit, impact sockets, torque wrench, hammer, some big wrenches, breaker bar, odds and ends neatly. If I have to add anymore, I will start having to stack more tools and it'll get messy. Good for a basic home kit, though you'll need a socket organizer. Overall, I'm OK with this box. It's not something I think will last me for many years, but for $70 it will do in a pinch. I fully expect the latches and/or drawer slides to fail in some way during my ownership of this box at the rate I use it (working on my cars and my motorcycle mostly).

Surprised at how good the quality was on this toolbox. It’s not too big or too small for an at-home basic toolbox. Perfect for my needs and great value for the cost.

Great box for the price

This box is perfect for someone who needs a small tool box to easily organize a small set of tools. The quality of the box is on par with any other name brand box. The drawers slide smoothly and there is a detent to hold them in while the top is open. The box is relatively secure but you can pull the drawers out a little bit when it is locked; just barely enough to get a small screw driver in but not enough to "steal" anything. Anyone who gives it a bad review because it was damaged in shipping is doing a disservice to the community. This box is solid and well made. Mine arrived double boxed and surrounded in styrofoam. If its damaged in shipping, its because it wasn't packages properly or it was very poorly cared fro by the shipper. Powder coat finish is perfect and the lock works just fine. Add some drawer liners and you are good to go. I use mine to store all my specialized bicycle tools and take it with me in my Tahoe when I go on biking trips. I would highly recommend. And for 60 something bucks you can't go wrong. I would not spend a penny more on anything else, you just won't gain anything. I've interacted with boxes from Snap-On, Waterloo, Craftsman, Homak, and many others. For the price this box is equivalent to all of them. You won't be disappointed.
