Very prompt delivery by Amazon ,the product was safely packed. It's such a wonderful mridang that the wait was worth it,such nice spiritual sound kirtan becomes more joyous . Some negative reviews here about dhamak side being too hard are not corroborated.either the seller has fixed the issue or the comments are baseless.
