Great Cooker!
I bought this pressure cooker after debating about it for a while. I'd been using the Presto cooker for absolutely years and liked it well enough. But this cooker is a game-changer. I bought the 10 qt and it's just big and fabulous! I can cook soups and pot roasts--any type of meat really. It is so versatile. This is also big enough for those who like to can. I've never done that before, but I can see how it would easily adapt. I just love it. The cooker is super shiny, heavy stainless steel, and washes great. I wash mine by hand because I don't want to ruin the beautiful finish. I spray the interior with Pam so I've never had baked on foods. It washes up easily and is ready for the next meal. A great addition to any kitchen!

Best Pressure cooker I can find on the market with this price
Great value and works as expected, very easy to use. My only compaint is that the lid is not machine-washbable, but none of the pressure cookers I used has a machine-washable lid, so... The best thing of this pot is that it is really intuitive and saves lots of cooking time. Especially for someone like me who enjoys cooking lentil soups and meat stews.

Very nice and big pressure cooker.
Perfect for a pressure cooker. Hate the whole instapot thing. Also very good with canning.

Excellent pressure cooker, with very minor gripes
I picked the Zavor because it gets the highest pressure in this price range. It works great and is very easy to use. I probably use it 2-3 times per week. Great for stocks, soups, beans, stews, even rice! Drawbacks: 1) in retrospect I should have bought the simpler Zavor with only high pressure. I never use the low-pressure setting on this one. I tried once with vegetables and cooked them a minute too long so they turned out mushy. 2) the screws attaching the handle to the lid periodically get lose, which loses the pressure seal. You just need to check them and tighten them.

Great pressure cooker!
I needed a larger cooker for pot roasts, and this fit the bill perfectly. Comes with some handy accessories for steaming veggies. The lid is effectively locked once the pressure is high enough. The only slight negative is the pressure regulation…you can set High or Low, but then you have to assess whether the venting is smooth and steady, or uneven and spitting water, but it always spits a little, so it’s a bit subjective. A more positive indication (yellow=low, green=good, red=high) would be even better. Still, it’s a great cooker!

What happaned to Fagor - Zavor is Fraud. NOT what was tested by ATK
I had Fagor brand that I bought many years ago after I saw a review by the American Test Kitchen - and it still works great. This one Zavor however is a total junk BY DESIGN. It keeps releasing steam as the liquid insanely boils inside. It used to require some/just enough liquid to get up to pressure - now you need to have it filled up with a 30 pound kettlebell on top. As it cooks the kitchen turns into steam room. Unbelievable junk!!!! I wasted 80$ worth of ingredients trying to make a simple chilly - works like a charm in the old Zavor. I guess I'm done with Zavor.

A Very Safe Pressure Cooker
I've used pressure cookers for over 54 years. Since I prefer a manual stove top pressure cooker, I chose the Zavor 4.2 quart size. It's safe, easy to use plus I'm very familiar with pressure cookers. No problems! Cook foods in a jiffy. The first thing I made was boiled eggs (that's right, boiled eggs). I used 1 cup of water, the trivet and 4 eggs (right from the refrigerator), brought pressure up using #2 on pressure cooker top. Then when popper pops up, lower heat & process for 7 minutes. After 7 minutes turn off heat. Either release pressure by running cold water over the top of cooker or use the release valve on top. Open cooker cool down eggs with cold water, crack, peel & enjoy!! A good investment for my husband and I.

Great item
I bought this to replace my old pressure cooker because the locking mechanism had failed. This pressure cooker has redesigned what had failed on my previous one and it is even better. I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend it.
