Seems Good So Far
Fairly straight-forward install but sticky-back on unit didn't hold well; required more securing. I used it in a Kichler under-counter fixture based on other reviews and specs. I did blow a few bulbs in the process of install and getting the wires connected correctly but seems to be working well. Consistent brightness and no flashing...and no more blown bulbs...yet.

Lights up our cabinet halogen bulbs
I was 30 seconds away from returning this because after wiring it up I measured only 1.5v output from the leads. I then watched some YouTube videos and discovered that these transformers only produce output when under load (the bulbs HAVE to be attached) and can only be measured on an analog voltmeter.Since I was just testing the transformer and using an electronic voltmeter, it all seemed to be non-functional.Once I wired it to the lights, installed an in-line on/off switch, and plugged it all in - it functioned perfectly. It's a lot smaller than the previous Hatch unit I had but actually handles higher wattage.

Fixed the problem.
I bought this to replace the transformer that was acting up in our Fantech bath fan. It came with a Hatch transformer that worked most of the time, but, sometimes it decided that it didn't want to and then finally quit working. I checked the wiring connections several times and that wasn't the problem, so, I decided that it was time to do something about it. I was looking for the same transformer that came with the fan, but, it was quite a bit more money than this one and the other one seemed to always be a bit flaky. So, I decided to try this one. Installation was about as easy as could be expected, and, the transformer worked perfectly. So, don't be afraid to give it a try.

Problem solver
Since the under cabinet light I purchased this for was obsolete, this allowed me to bring it back to life instead of having to replace that light and the rest of it's counterparts under the other cabinets. Once installed, it worked great.

So far so good
I've had this installed now for less than two weeks, but so far it's working fine. Installation isn't hard if you're comfortable and knowledgeable with AC power and have access to crimp connectors and tools. I do wish the case had a loop or tab like some other similar products to make mounting easier; I had to do something funky with zip ties.

No more flickering light
Replacement transformer for 17 year old under counter lights. Easy replacement if you take a few photos with yourPhone camera and match up wiring. A hairdryer helps to loosen the double sided tape holding the original transformer in place. Certainly a cost effective solution to my flickering light.
