My 11 year old JE gymnast has been wearing these for the past year mostly on pommel-less horse. They are softer than the white and red ones but provide the right amount of support he likes. Make sure to order 2 as they are not sold in pairs.

A few months ago I over did it with some elastic weight bands. Since then, I have struggled with tendinitis in my right forearm and have not been able to get rid of it. Any exercise that I did would exacerbate the problem but I bore the pain because I didn't want to be a couch potato. Part of the problem is that I have the tendency to overextend my wrist while working out or playing Pickle-ball. My Dr. told me to use a wrist support that would keep my wrist/hand from bending backwards. I ordered this particular support based on the reviews from others. I found that after I wear this while playing Pickle-ball or working out I am not having the pain that I had prior to using this support. In fact I haven't had any pain lately. I am not taking anti-flams either. As for the product's construction, it comes with three different inserts that give you three levels of rigidity. I found that I need only one insert to do the trick for me. It does not slip down my arm and does not cut off the circulation. I ordered a medium. I take a medium women's shirt size. I am happy with the price and the quality too.

I've been having all kinds of trouble with my right wrist, hand, and thumb which I think are due to the increased desk work I've been doing, the tennis I play and arthritis. I've tried taping, wrist wraps, stretching and strengthening exercise, and several braces. I now use my left hand for mousing so my right it getting a rest, but trying to play tennis with something across my palm is very frustrating and any thing that forces my hand back is painful. This brace is very comfortable so I am able to wear it all day. I can type with it and I can FEEL the racket in my hand. After only a few days, my wrist feels soooo much better. The pain was primarily on the dorsal (top) part of my wrist. Particularly, when anything forced my hand back I would feel pain in my wrist. This wrist wrap prevents my hand from being pushed back. I have small wrists and the fit is snug. I Iike it a lot and highly recommend it.

If you have a competitive gymnast in the family these skids are great for wrist support. My son has used them & is really satisfied with the support they provide.

My 14 year old son is a competitive gymnast. He sprained his wrist in training and was having issues doing pommel horse without support. These seemed to be a good solution. They are a bit bulky in that the come up on his palm a bit more than he'd like, but they offer good, adjustable resistance against wrist extention. They cannot be worn with bar or ring grips, but he has used them on the floor and vault as well.

I am a forty something gymnasts and these supports are a game changer! No more wrist pain when I tumble.

They are great! I ordered 2, i do platform diving and my wrists often hurt at the end of training. They take away all that pain and they are comfortable and havent broken so far! Great for what i needed. My only complaint would be that the foam interserts where not the same width as what it said on the packet, one was really thin and the other far to thick on one of my supports. Otherwise brilliant. (The title is plural but if you press order only ONE will come)

I do not understand all the positive reviews for this product. Every part is made from the cheapest conceivable version of that material - the velcro straps, the wrist support, the cuff - everything just feels like someone is making these at home. Also the fit is terrible, its both too big and too small somehow. The velcro straps are way too long, the 'support' is just some pieces of foam, and the wrist cuff is super tight... Find something else, don't buy this.
