Foam Microphone Windscreen- Aedor Quality Sponge Mic Cover as a pop filter for Blue Yeti, Yeti Pro Condenser Microphones(Red)

The product arrived on time (Thanks Amazon) and the general quality felt pretty good! The material is very thick, and fits the Blue Yeti well. I noticed it does in fact work better than the actual sock that I was using before. :)

I don't know why pop filters are so trendy these days among streamers. All you really need is a windscreen and popping will not be a problem no matter which direction you hit the mic from. Pop filters only block in one direction and can be tricky to get just right. Add in something like a room fan, which is necessary to not suffocate in my case, and a pop filter is going to do you no good. Something like this will take care of the wind noise so that all you have to filter is the sound of the motor because we are talking a sensitive microphone when it comes to the Blue Yeti. I was looking for a way to get closer to the mic for that rich sound without the pop. This inexpensive solution did the trick. Sound quality is still crisp. FYI, it takes a little work to get it on so stick with it. Also, it will look a little funny (shaped weird) when you first put it on from out of the package but that dissipates after a day or so. Right solution for a great price. I would definitely buy this again.

It does a moderate job. Avoid the vast majority of the noises, but keep in mind that you will still hear the ‘pop’ or ‘click’ if you get too close to the microphone. It reduces the volume a little, so be sure to speak a little louder.

I bought this cover primarily to help keep the mic head on my BLUE YETI microphone clean and protected. Item arrived as described. Fits my Blue Yeti microphone good. Gently apply the foam cover. It isn't going to slip on easily, you have to tug it down a bit. It took only few seconds to do this, but I can tell it would rip if you're too rough with it. These foam covers arrive flat(see pictures). I thought it could be an issue but it actually was not. 10/10 would reccomend.

Fit my Blue Yeti perfectly! It’s snug enough that it won’t fall off. Others have complained about the foam coming too squished and that was not the case for me. The slight creases in the foam disappeared in about a week. And the creases were so slight it was hard to photograph them. Haven’t tested for sound quality or noise cancellation yet, so I haven’t provided rating for those. I was mostly looking for cover to protect mic from dust, etc.

I expected a tight fit, considering the other reviews. Imagine my shock when I open it, and the windscreen is huge. First of all, I love the color. It is more of a fuscia color, which went beautifully with my Pink Dawn Yeti microphone. However, it is way too tall, and a bit wide. I think that it will puff out enough to take care of the width, but the high allows for me to pinch two fingers downward until I reach the mic. So far, it appears to muffle background noise, and it appears to be very well made. I had to mark it down because the picture uses a Yeti mic, and this is a large mic. This leads me to believe that the sizing is inconsistent.

Goofing off once it arrived, I put it over my phone (LG G6, plus the case), which it fit, and tried making my own little recording to see how it worked there. It works! What shock (; It's also Perfect to Protect our fancy, Pretty microphone from the sPouse sPitting out his Precisely Popped "P"s! (; Picks up the mews and borks of the kitties and doggies well, without all the added "shhhwooooooooo" of whitenoise and air atop all the animal chatter.

Bit too big but does the job. Happy with the product. Great price, easy to put, although a bit too big for my blue yeti so it tends to come off easily. However, it works really well for the “p’s “ sounds. Haven’t had any issues with it. I recommend the product.

It's great and made my microphone better.

Works great, finally can take off the plastic shield I had. Been after a blue one for ages. Now if only I could find a white one!
