If you have to choose between a heater and this blanket, choose this one. It is a lifesaver and makes such a huge difference in how you combat cold weather. Please note that this is not a warm fuzzy blanket but a thick mat sort of thing that you sleep on - you don't put it over yourself. It has two heat levels and also options to choose just head or feet. More heat variations could be nice but it is a good product to buy.

A bit smaller. Doesn't cover the leg and the upper body. However, I found it a good quality and gets quite warm. My mom really liked it and I recommend strongly for older parents who can't tolerate cold weather. Make sure to follow the instructions - this is not a cover blanket. You need to place it on the bed, cover it with a bed sheet and sleep over it. Also, make sure to avoid any liquid spills or fold ups.

The main reason for me buying this is that our radiator does not work when we are on backup power. This sheet, uses the common 5 A socket and not the power (16 A) socket that is used by the radiator.However, after buying this, my wife wants to use this more than the radiator as the heat is direct and when used with a blanket, is very effective. Just bought this, hoping to see a much reduced electricity bill this month.PS:- unlike what is said, this is NOT a blanket. This goes under your bed sheet on top of your bed.

Very good product for winter. A good value for money. A must buy product for old aged people with backache or body pain problems. I wish the wire connecting the blancket and the control unit should be abit longer.

Getting over heat. No control. Even in low its over heating.

Excellent product keeps the body warm

My spouse has used this for last few days and she used to keep it on low heat , occasionally using high heat, switching off in the night, she got up today December 20,2019 and put it on high and left to attend nature's call, the blanket was not on for last seven hours while she was sleeping, when she returned after couple of hours she smelt something burning and could not immediately localise as there was no smoke. Please see the attached photos. A very unsafe product, no cut off control, no temperature regulation at all, who is going to compensate me for all these losses of mine, God saved us from major disaster. Awaiting response of amazon
