Starbucks Hot Cocoa, Peppermint, 7 Ounce

We use this to make cafe peppermint mochas with our espresso machine which is a big hit for our friends and family. It tastes just like the cafe peppermint mochas which come out near Christmas from Starbucks. For the price this is pretty expensive compared to just the regular chocolate hot cocoa Starbucks sells so I would use it sparingly or in conjunction with the regular chocolate espresso.

It is a 3 star, n out t 5 star. But my non 5 star reviews don’t get posted. Hardly any chocolate flavor. Can taste some of the mint. It really tasted like sweet minty milk. No coco flavor to be found. Will skip this one. Tin is pretty though for the holidays.

This product actually shocked me… I’m not a big Starbucks Guy but this Hot Cocoa is surprisingly good. Its taste is rich and I would 100% recommend over any Swiss Miss or generic powder! CONS: it’s a bit more expensive but you are getting a better tasting cocoa powder

This cocoa mix has hardly any taste or sweetness at all! Very disappointing. I wish I had seen no refunds on this product- I would not have ordered it. Very small container. My fault for not noticing how many ounces you get for $16.99! Total rip off! I’m so mad at myself….

I love Starbucks' hot chocolate because it isn't too sweet. It is smooth in my mouth, yet I don't feel like I'm getting a sugar fix or like I'm ingesting 42 chemicals with the texture of fabric softener. It is simple, yet not so simple as to be thin and weak...the chocolate is strong on the tongue. (I use 2 level tablespoons per 8oz almond milk.) It's also very satisfying to taste the peppermint, but to not feel like I'm eating several candy canes at once. I have cut out almost all sugar in my diet now for some years (having replaced it with KAL's stevia) and I get grossed out at many sickeningly sweet foods/drinks. I make my own versions of many foods. This cocoa may have some sugar, but it is subtle and tasty, not overwhelming. I appreciate that.
