Awesome feel and good quality
This Molten volleyball is legit. It feels super soft on the arms and has great grip and control. The colors pop, and it’s easy to track during games. You can tell it’s high quality no weird bounces or deflation issues. Perfect for indoor and outdoor play.

Make sure you have means to inflate the ball
Just an FYI that the ball will need to be inflated. It is stated in the product description, but it caught me off guard. It wasn't a problem since I had a can of air at home to inflate it. Nice quality ball. It's legit.

Takes a bit of getting used to but great for game play
I mostly play with the Tachikara SV5W which I like for the touch and control. This Molten feels much different to that. It's got much more pop to it. The texture of the ball is almost tacky and may take a bit of getting used to. Once you do though, I think you'd enjoy it. The leagues that I play in want people using the Tachikara balls but I've been able to sneak this one in once in a while. It takes a little breaking in before it feels good but once that's done this is a great ball to play with. You get used to the tacky feel of the ball after a few games. It seems much more durable than the SV5W (which is why I wanted to give this one a try). This ball has been smashed against walls, rafters, bleachers, etc and it's held up much better than the SV5W which would show scuffs and cuts fairly quickly. The weird panel designs don't impact me that much as I don't really serve floaters. The extra pop is great when serving jumpers and the grip is nice when throwing on top spin. The pass comes off really well once you get used to the extra little energy the ball delivers. My biggest gripe would be the color of the ball may be a tad dark because of how big the red and blue panels are. I like the red/white/blue much better than the green one. I haven't had much trouble with it but the gym I've been playing in is very well lit with white walls so the contrast is good. If you can talk other teams into using this ball, I think it's a great ball to play with.

Have a pump if youre a hard player. Gets flat after too much force
Came a few days earlier, still using it everyday since it was received. Amazing quality and durability for indoors. In my opinion, one of the best choices for indoor volleyballs. Although if played with too hard, it starts getting a bit flat.

Great ball, nice upgrade from the Pro Touch
I've been playing with the Molten Pro Touch for years now, and I decided that I would move to the V5M5000 ball since I've been seeing it more often in league and tournament play. This is a great ball. Coming from the Pro Touch, I don't really notice much of a difference when it comes to "hardness" of the ball. Some people don't like how hard the Pro Touch can feel when passing or hitting. If anything, the V5M5000 is a little bit softer due to the Flistatec cover. The cover also makes the ball very nice for setting. Actually one of the main reasons I bought the V5M5000 is due to the fact that the Pro Touch cover seems to get very slippery with a lot of use. As far as hitting goes, I think the feel is pretty comparable to the Pro Touch. With a good swing and good contact, you get that real nice "pop" out of your spike which feels very satisfying. On serves, it floats pretty well, but probably not as good as the Pro Touch or other similar volleyballs. The only problem with this ball...not as many people are willing to play with it. I've been seeing it more and more in games, but many people still look at it like it's from Mars and ask if we can use a different ball.

Good Collegiate ball
I have played all of my life at various levels including college so I have played with a variety of balls. My Molten Pro Touch wore out completely so I decided on the ball that was currently being used at the College level and in various indoor tourneys. This ball replaces the leather panels of the Pro Touch with synthetic panels that have polygon type of raised patterns on them, but it doesn't feel like the cheap synthetic garbage balls that sporting goods stores sell. It is also not as sensitive to inputs as the Mikasa international ball, meaning you can still generate good topspin on this ball and not have to worry about your jump serves so much. It's a good ball and a refreshing change to play with and great feel, even though I still like the Pro Touch we used to play with. This ball should last longer than the leather Pro Touch as well due to the synthetic panels.

Replica Molten - Fake
Counterfeit ball with outer pump valve - does not have the inner pump hole stamped with the Molten 'S' for authenticity. I would not purchase.

Great volleyball! Light weight, grippy, and all around high performance ball. I also got it before estimated time so even better for me.

Bought this from the US as my stepson wanted the blue American version rather than the green. Fast delivery and excellent volleyball.

My kid is a top U16 all-star setter, he says it was a real adjustment to set this ball but he loves it...his favorite ball to use
