Josef Müller-Brockmann Suttl: Pioneer of Swiss Graphic Design

Great book for those who enjoy and appreciate Swiss Design.

Although there are not a lot of texts about Muller-Brockmann (MB) but a lot of illustrated work of him and his mentors and other designers. What I always like is the production drawing for his work. It is amazing to see how he was working and it gives me a lot of inspiration about how to use the grid in different ways.

Para quem já viu algum trabalho do Muller-Brockmann e buscava mais do que se pode encontrar na web, aqui está o livro ideal. Vários trabalhos com legendas e sua trajetória.Inicialmente fiquei decepcionado por não ter capa dura mas vi que a encadernação é excelente, possibilitando uma abertura completa do livro.Recomendo a todos os designers.

ヨゼフ ミューラー ブロックマンのポスターが、フルカラーの美しい印刷でたっぷり掲載されています。タテ、ヨコ、斜め、円を組み合わせた幾何学的な整然とした構成ながら、心地よいリズム感があるポスターの数々は、整理された色使いもきれいで、今見ても新鮮です。CGを駆使した作品が多い今の時代、一服の清涼剤のように感じられます。ページのレイアウトも図版と余白の取り方に整然としたリズム感があり、素敵です。並製本でページがノドから大きく開くホローバックになっているので（広開本）、見やすいのも良い点です（ただ、背表紙が固くないので、若干輸送中に角が潰れやすいようです）。約17×24センチとビジュアル本としては小さめで、少々割高な印象（３千円台後半で購入）ですが、良い本です。

Needed for sons college course, like all book needed for college these days it was not cheap however he read it and found it interesting and helpful so I guess it goes in the win coloum.
