Q: Is this actually glass? It looks and feels like plastic.

The product is in fact tempered glass. "Tempered" glass means that it is created at high temperatures to be able to be flexible with out breaking. You can test for yourself that the glass will not scratch with a knife, as a hard plastic would scratch. Also, if you were to bend it too far, the screen protector would shatter, which plastic would not do. Thank you, TechMatte Inc.

Q: Are you sure this screen protector works, apple is telling me that the glass ones are too heavy for the iPad Pro, causes them to be unresponsive ?

Not heavy and worked on my iPad Pro 11”. Facial recognition should work because the protector does not go over the cameras. When applying light or heavy pressure, drawing on my tablet, with my Apple Pencil it did not affect the brush stokes.

I'm sure it will. It fit mine pretty well.

Q: Can this screen protector be used with a case?

My case came with a plastic screen protector and I was able to remove it, put the glass on on, and it had no problem fitting.
