Genuine Canon Ink it the way to go
I have tried compatible cartridges, compatible black cartridges have never been any good, some of the compatible color cartridges are acceptable, but the genuine Canon cartridges are the only ones to use. Expensive, but trouble-free.

OEM ink, it works best
If you want to be sure that your printer never clogs from its' ink, use the ink that it is meant to use.

XL Is The Most Economical Way To Go
We love our Canon MAXIFY MB2020 Wireless Office All-In-One Inkjet Printer with Mobile and Tablet Printing, and AirPrint and Google Compatible and it uses these very convenient, easy to insert 1200 ink tanks. Because ink prices are through the roof, it pays to shop around, but I've found XL tanks to be most economical. They last almost three times longer than standard tanks--we get a lot of mileage out of each colored tank. Currently, Amazon offers the best prices for this size, but other times I've found better deals on Ebay or from reliable dealers like Beach Camera. Just make sure ink tanks are authentic Canon. The ink in these tanks produces beautiful colors--we're very happy with our printer and the quality pages it produces.

Don’t be yellow....
What can I say, it’s yellow. It’s expensive ink but it is yellow and looks yellow. It works as advertised and well I’m the sucker who doesn’t buy the cheapi brands and takes a gamble if it doesn’t work.If you want tried and true buy this.

Canon only ink cartridges for canon printers others won't work.
Ordered ink carts from injet but the printer we have will not work with them. Canon brand only for canon printers. They cost alot more but at least they work.

Canon brand is always the best!

It is ink. It works.Of course, I can't say I like how canon inkjet printers automatically spew ink in an internal receptacle every so often when you haven't used them in a while, but I can say I like that this ink works.Best,Plebeien.
