Easy to put together the lock is a pin that the magnet is used to slide the pin up .. reading the reviews I thought it wasn’t going to work but it did . And the book shelf is small for small spaces . Hey I like it !!

This cabinet looks great and is very easy to assemble - I put it together quickly without any issues. It feels sturdy and the sliding track works well. The only downside is that it arrived with some minor scratches. Not a dealbreaker, but still disappointing for a new item.

You can’t put the bookshelf together without taking out the secret drawer- GOOD LUCK WITH THAT! The drawer simply will not come out. I’ve used the magnet they provided. I used a stronger magnet. The drawer will not come out. Be careful if you are able to get the drawer to work. You may never be able to open it again. You’ll have to use a sledgehammer to remove your stuff. This tells me the apparatus on the inside is incredibly cheap. I hear little faint clicks, but the drawer won’t open. After struggling with this item for over an hour, I managed to get the drawer a third of the way open but still cannot remove it completely as it is too tight for the base. Therefore, I cannot complete putting the bookshelf together. This is going back, but I’m tempted to trash it because returns are a major pain! This is a total waste of money! Poorly constructed. Spend your money on products better made.

Easy to assemble and the hidden drawer is exactly what I needed. It’s easy to open and close with the magnet lock feature.

I got this for the magnetic draws. Which is why I’m willing to pay so much instead of going to ikea for better quality and cheaper. But the draws doesn’t work. The magnet is faulty. No magnet needed to open the draw. Wood are cheap and light weight. It wobble and does not look sturdy. Qualities that I was willing to compromise IF the magnetic draws works. So this is just an overprice poorly made shelf. I wish I could return it but it’s all assembled.

The assembly instructions told me to just slide the drawer out to begin assembly problem us the drawer was stuck I couldn’t remove the drawer the size of the compartment was too small for the drawer to slide out I had to use a Malloy and upon finally getting it out , I opted to leave the drawer in the dresser and during removal damaged the compartment surfaces so I didn’t return it , it wS so badly made !
