We like the depth of this seat. The last one we bought was a slimline, more like a slim life as it only lasted a couple of months before it bust. This one looks much better made - it has already received the royal seal of approval - no small feat! So far, so good. We like the soft close and a decent feel of quality. It was a doddle to fit too.

I wasn't sure about my purchase as I'm a technically ignorant and limited skilled woman. I'm really pleased with my purchase and extremely delighted as i could manage to do it on my own.Its high quality and sturdy. Simple clear instructions and easy to install. Well packed. If you think the size is right do go for it. Great product 👌 👍

This is a good quality, costly, yet sturdy easy close toilet seat.It is relatively easy to fit and the size guidance card is most useful. However, I have only rated it 3 stars as some of the fittings, after several attempts, just didn’t work/catch (E through A into D). After some frustrating attempts, I had to use some similar appropriate fittings that I had in my toolbox.

I did a fair bit of research after our other seat cracked as I did not want one of those nasty plastic seats. I spend serious time in this part of the house avoiding various tasks, and only the best was going to cut the cheese. After reading a few reviews here and then receiving said seat, I can tell you this:- 1: This is a very good quality seat. It's solid and of great build quality.- 2: Its as good as some of the >£60 ones I saw at B&Q, if not better- 3: The soft close is so good you'd need super hearing to hear it close. Don't expect it to go down in a hurry though - but that is totally fine- 4: Some reviewers complained that the instructions were in German. They are, however they are ALSO IN ENGLISH (see the photo). Even if it was 100% in German - you'd have to be quite challenged to struggle with this. If you've got the know-how to wipe your posterior, then you've got this covered.- 5: It arrived two days earlier than I expected, perfectly packaged.If you found my review helpful, please do give it a thumbs up/mark it helpful to let me know it's worth putting these reviews up!

Our order arrived earlier than expected - which was appreciated - and was well packaged.The seat appears solidly built, with a well finished surface and no flash on the edging. It also came with two fixings for a normal, non-concealed toilet.One gripe is that the instructions were in German and the diagram possibly showed a different model of seat (it showed the anchor plug as several smaller components instead of one), as well as not in a lot of detail (I could quite easily see someone trying to put the anchor in upside down). However, we already knew what to do and had no issue ourselves installing it. Though we didn't measure the seat after it arrived, the dimensions provided seem accurate and the soft-close is perfectly fine (though this is only the first day).This was to replace the seat on a Valencia RH 900mm and, while the fit isn't perfect, it's more than adequate for purpose, with a good degree of travel to maneuver into position.
