Q: this reverse switch, is it two position, or is it labeled 0n1 off 0n2 ?

The Hayward # GVA-24 Valve Actuator operates on 24 volts AC. Direction is determined by the toggle switch positions: On 1 switched leg (white); Off; or, On 2 switched leg (red).

Q: Has anyone installed this actuator on a Hayward manual valve body?

Yes,I did, my actuator needed replacement after 7 years from original installation.I machined a threaded adapter and used JB weld to mount feet. My original modifications still hold.

Q: Aroninlhp i need a sunlight detector or photocell because i i have solar heater that will cool down the water at night or when is rainy, make sense?

Sounds like a sensor issue what temp is your controller set at? Cooler temps/overcast/cloudy will allow The water to cool search 10k pool sensor

Q: Does this actuator come with a longer cable? I need the cable to reach from my remote automation panel to the back of my water feature to the valve.

I'd ask the manufacturer directly but I would think you could cut the wiring near the connector and splice in the necessary length you need. Depending on how it's routed you'd want to make sure you have cable that's rated for being buried if it's going to be and the connections are waterproof no matter the installation. Soldering & heat shrink or using the special grease filled connectors as used in low voltage landscape lighting applications.
