Seachoice Emergency Stopgap Assorted 1/2-2 in. Wood Plugs, Set of 6

I have various holes in my wood floor where radiators used to be. I have bought various sized wood rods to seal them. Two holes were impossible to find rods that would work until I ran across this item. They worked perfectly. I tapped them into the holes with a little glue then cut them flush, sanded them and finished them. As these holes were in the dining room my wife was very happy!

Hope I never need them but they are good quality if I do.

Bought these 5 years ago and now writing review… Finally had an emergency situation when a thru hull fitting broke! Pulled out these wooden plugs and was able to quickly, completely stop the leak. Just fyi… Only 1 of these plugs work on a standard 1” thru hull… I would suggest buying 2 sets if storing on your boat; especially if you do offshore passages.

Good equipement

Hopefully I will never have to use them but they look good. Important part of every boat safety kit.

Good to keep on the boat for a temporary stop gap for any leaks.

I feel safer now that I have these on board my small yacht ⛵. You need peace of mind when out on the water.

Be aware that these are very large and may not be suitable for the "average" boater. I bought these believing it was similar to the kit you can buy at a West Marine. Much to my chagrin, these turned out to be huge and suitable for large holes rather than common hoses and fittings on a boat up to 60'. That said, it is actually complementary to the kit from west marine. Still, if you have a small boat, this is probably not for you, IMHO
