I Mean ... Just ... W o O w!
For the money I spent on this guitar as my first electric guitar to learn on? It's AWESOME. I already have an acoustic and wanted something that was more conducive to classic rock music and rifts. I don't need all the bells and whistles for my first electric guitar while I'm learning and this was what I settled on. It has two tone controls and two volume controls on the body. Perfect for any beginner. I paired it with a 20G Front Man Fender amplifier. This is a great pick for a beginner or intermediate player. The quality is amazing. The fretboard was in perfect condition as were the frets and body. All mahogany body, Laurelwood fret board with perfectly polished fret ends and polished crowns. I adjusted the truss rod, lowered the string action height, tuned it and played it with the strings it came with. Wow! Great sound right out of the box. I bought some Ernie Ball Slinky strings to replace the factory strings but I think I'll wait a while since the strings it came with are pretty darn good. UPDATE: This guitar is worth it folks! It's been almost 2 months now and after a few more tweaks to my bridge, stop end, and some new "Slinky" strings I am still in love. The sound is smooth; the notes are as clean as you want or as dirty as you want with proper amp settings. Note: If your amp does not have reverb then just add a 40 dollar pedal. The sound is so much better with reverb. The EPI LP E1 with its zebra coil pick ups can hold their own with a $1K guitar any day. Ceramic pick ups have come a long way and will compete with the best of them without any unwanted sound interruptions.

Great value . Perfect beginner to intermediate guitar
Just a heads up if you are buying this as a gift for a new guitar player it is a great guitar but it doesn't come with anything else it's just the guitar. A little about my self I have played guitar for about 20 years now I have ok guitar tech skills and I feel that this a perfect beginner to intermediate guitar . It came out of the box set up perfectly I just tuned it up and it was ready to rock. If you don't want to mess with paying someone to set up your guitar. Or having to do it your self this is the perfect guitar in this price range. The pickups are ceramic they have ok clean tones pretty good metal/hard rock tones they are good but not great. The rest of the electronics are sold. Plastic nut it's actually pretty good. The tuners are ok they hold tune. I use fender 10 to 46 strings and they sit perfectly in the nut . The guitar sounds great even unplugged it has great tone. The guitar I got is pretty light I haven't put it on a scale but I would guess in the 6.5 to 7.5 range. So I find my self playing standing up more with a lighter guitar.

Quality instrument, great price, beautiful look and tone
These guitar is absolutely beautiful and sounds great out of the box with just a little tuning. I’ve had more time during stay-at-home to get back in practice, but my Strat needed a couple repairs before I could play it again. My other instruments are both Fender and Squier, but I’ve admired the Les Paul and SG for years, so I picked this up to both scratch my practice itch and try something different. I do not regret it. For the price, this is an amazing instrument, whether a beginner or if you’re just looking for a second guitar. It looks and feels just wonderful. “Quality” sounds cliche and cheesy, but it’s the word that immediately came to mind as soon as I touched this thing. This guitar is pure quality. I can see the need for upgraded pickups if this becomes a gig instrument, but if you’re new to guitar or unfamiliar with humbuckers, they’re perfect to start with. I cannot say enough good things about this guitar.

Epiphone bad guitar
Please don't buy this guitar, it is junk. The tuners are so bad that I never got it tuned. I am trying to send it back. I purchased a Slash-less Paul. Now that's a good guitar. I love it. I guess you can't buy a cheep guitar and exspect more from it

Great guitar that needs a bit of work
Guitar plays flawlessly and looks beautiful. I did add a pick guard and changed the pickup covers to make it look nicer but other than that and a string change, it is stock. Excellent sound for the price and the neck feels much better than my squier strat (which is a lot thinner) The only problem I have is that the tuners feel a bit cheap and wobbly (Might replace them later). The strings also desperately needed to be replaced because the stock strings feel awful. I put Ernie ball super slinky strings on and it feels much better! Great guitar but just needed a little TLC.

The headstock began twisting shortly after purchase.
I bought this guitar with the game "Rocksmith 2014" and loved the guitar until I began failing the mini-games from E & A string notes near the headstock being "heard" wrong by the game. At first I thought it was a problem with the game and not the guitar, but when I plugged in a friend's guitar and those notes were heard correctly I began to search a bit more intently. Eventually I realized that E and A were perfectly tuned when open, but _really_ sharp up until the 3rd fret, and noticeably sharp up to the 8th fret. That's when I saw that the headstock was twisting (clockwise when viewed from above). I took it to a local guitar shop where it was determined that it wouldn't be worth trying to fix. I really want to love this guitar. It FEELS nicer in my arms than the (used) Fender Squire Strat I bought to replace it. Now that I've learned a few things to look for I'll be buying my guitars in real life for a while instead of over the internet.

Arrived with a broken E string.
The guitar was packed well in the original box and wrapped in plastic. The original box was then packed inside a larger box stuffed with craft paper. There didn't appear to be any shipping damage but unfortunately upon unpacking the guitar, I discovered the high E string was broken. Not a big deal, but disappointing that I couldn't play it out of the box. I was planning on restringing with Ernie Ball Super Slinky's anyway. Beautiful guitar otherwise and sounds fantastic.

Really nice guitar was quite surprised how nice it sounds for the price. I wouldn't say I was a beginner just play it for a hobby. I like the way it looks, you can actually play the 22nd fret without any problems, it's well balanced and it also holds it's tuning very well. Many thanks best guitar I have owned. 👍
