I bought this for a friend after doing a lot of research and watching many You Tube videos. I received it four days before the order said I would (wonderful job on this), and had to look at it before I boxed and wrapped it. Very impressed. Very, very impressed. It seems like Alien Gear listens to feedback from owners and reviewers of their products because every time I watched a video the parts had improvements that were not on the last holster (videos often a year apart or more). The one I received had a shell that was very detailed and even stamped with the model of gun it is used for. Very nice as I ordered two holsters with two extra shells for myself and did not want to use a sharpie to designate which shell went with what gun. Will send a review on my items once I get them. Thank you Alien Gear for making improvements and for making such quality gear for very affordable prices. I just wanted to update this review. I just finished a Front Sight four day handgun course. There were three of us with Alien Gear OWB paddle holsters using Glock 19's. I ran mine with a wide 5.11 belt and let the paddle remain outside of the waist band (ran the belt through it). I also added 3/4 inch screws to mine. Everything worked as advertised, and all three of us received Graduate for the course. My two friends ran the standard screws and had the top right (the one above the trigger guard), come out and one lost the rubber spacer, but the holsters still functioned flawlessly. I would recomend that Alien Gear add longer screws so that more of the screw engages with the back of the plate catch (more threads to engage and hang on with lots of use and abuse). We also have the IWB and it performs as advertised also (again I used longer screws just beware as they can push out and destroy the backing--There is no backing to rub on the OWB). If you buy this product you will be very satisified.

Great option for anyone / Only option for wheelchair user
Could not be happier with this holster. The form molded shell effectively "locks" your gun into the holster. I also purchased the mounting kit, because I am confined to a wheelchair, wearing the holster on my waistband isn't really an option for me, (however, the contoured "Alien Head" paddle will be very comfortable for those that do). I attached the mounting kit to the bottom of my chair, wich finally gave me the ability to truly carry concealed. For those of us in chairs, there are almost no options that really allow to carry concealed and have quick access to our firearms. The interlocking of the paddle and mounting kit combined with the "locking" effect of the formed shell allows me to be confident that my gun will be there if I ever need it. I really cannot say enough good things about this holster and the company.

This is a great holster it fits close to body regardless of appearance. It easy to get on and off. It holds the gun secure and additional spacers for adjustments. I have just about every holster made and this absolutely the best.

Comfortable to wear. Tight against hip as I expected. Still working on getting the right tension but I’m trying different combos. Well worth the money

You will not be disappointed
Often in my search for products I only look at the ones that have multiple reviews. I am glad that I did not follow that protocol with this holster. I bought a Glock 19 several months ago and have been accessorizing ever since. Bought 4 holsters before this one and none of them compare. Many configurations can be achieved and they provide all the parts for the modifications. Great instructions and really easy to switch around. Smooth holstering and re-holstering. LOVE this holster. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Could not ask for a better holster to get stuck with.
I had a holster that had mechanical locking tension. I loved it! Then I researched it. Oops! It turned out that the mechanical retention was designed to be unserviceable in the event debris or other obstruction interferes with its operation. Sorry, I don't want to have to argue with my equipment if I NEED my weapon. The only acceptable risk for this is 0%.I went holster shopping. There was no mechanical retention system holster for my weapon that I could be happy with. The Alien Gear Cloak Mod OWB seemed to give the most value and the interweb seemed happy with it. Now that we've spent some time together, I can see why. I LOVE it. I've done a LOT of drills with it. I love knowing I won't ever need to fight with it either.I rated four stars because the holster leaves a small gap in the trigger guard. I'd still buy it and will buy it again for my other weapons so it's not a deal breaker but to be a perfect holster and get a perfect rating, mold the shells to completely cover the trigger guard.

Awesome holster!
Awesome holster. When im wearing something oversized and don't want to carry IWB I put this on and love it. Fits my Taurus PT111 perfectly.

Nice holster, and one of very few left handed holsters that my son needs to use. Kydex is stiff, but adjustable. Positive retention on the weapon and stays tight against the body.
