Great for the price
I bought this and the Kokuyo Harinacs Stapleless Stapler to compare them to each other. The Koyuko Harinacs stapler had better instructions (even though they were in Japanese and I only know English, it had diagrams illustrating how it is best used) and I personally think it has a cooler-looking design, but it was far more expensive (bought it for about $21, including shipping). I also liked that the Koyuko Harinacs one has a viewing window which allows the user to see exactly where the staple will be punched. The Plus Paper Cinch has some transparent plastic so that the user can make a good guess as to where the staple will be made, but it's not exact. Also, the Plus Paper Cinch can balance a better on its own for single-handed stapling (though this balance is not perfect), whereas I must use two hands to operate the Koyuko Harinacs one. Both have the same mechanism for stapling, and since it doesn't use staples, my fancy wooden desk will be saved from many little scratches! When using staple-free staplers, I recommend using 2 "staples" at 90 degrees to each other so that neither of them comes apart. They should put that in the instructions, but they don't for this stapler. It would be great if they came out with a staple-free stapler with a greater capacity of 16 sheets or so, such that its utility increases. 4 sheets of paper is okay if you staple packets of this size or smaller regularly. I tried stapling 10 sheets of computer paper together with this to see if it would work, because they fit into the gap for papers to be stapled. It worked to staple them together, but I had to yank the papers out because they staple blade got stuck in them. After many repeated uses stapling large quantities of paper together, I imagine that the spring mechanism would become brittle and break. If it is only used to staple together 4 sheets of paper or fewer as it was meant to, it will stay in great shape and last for a long time.Overall, this is a neat little stapler. Sometimes, I let my colleagues and clients borrow it and they wish they had their own.

Great for light duty work
Works well for standard paper and a few pages, but it reaches its limit quickly. I haven’t had any issues with it jamming up or getting stuck, just struggles with any high workload in my experience. But for average schoolwork or quick office things, it’s great and saves a ton on staples

Stapler
This will only join 5 pieces of paper, but it does it very well. Great price, quick delivery.

Does NOT securely fasten!
Does not securely “staple “ the number of pages that the description indicates. Due to this, pages “stapled “ with this item will not allow for much handling and still remain fastened together.

Greatest non-stapler
Works great! Easy to use and keeps papers together without having to use an actual staple/stapler.

Compact, sturdy, and simple design.
I abuse this item on a regular basis at work. It's been a month now. It makes an excellent tool for stapling receipts together for temporary use. The hole is fairly small, and about the size of a small capsule pill of Tylenol.I like it because when you need to undo the staple, you're not ripping the paper apart just to get to the one you need, and you don't have to go through the trouble of finding the stapler remover, and trying to pry off a staple. And so far, it has never jammed on me. I imagine the only way you could even get it to jam is by putting too many papers in there. But the opening where you stick the paper in doesn't even allow for very many pieces of paper, so I don't know how you could manage to make it jam.Good purchase as far as I'm concerned!
