Often known simply as the 'Honey Peach' because the very tender and juicy golden flesh is as sweet as pure sugar. The curious flattened shape to the fruits is a distinctive feature of this sought-after variety that usually retails in Garden Centers for £30 or more. The deep pink blossoms appear early, in March/April, and are pretty enough to warrant growing this tree as an ornamental flowering tree. But even young specimens produce freely, and an established tree can yield 100 or more peaches! Self-fertile. Suitable for a large 24" pot using a propriety loam based compost, or cn be grown in the ground in a sunny border or against a sunny wall, where an area 6x6' will be required.
