exactly as advertised
I live back east, but ski in Utah. these are great for conditioning your legs leading up to ski season. haven't found anything better for strengthening lifting my legs for skiing. if you wear larger than a men's 9 shoe these will be too small.

Trash the USELESS straps and buy new ones
The iron boot itself is fine. However you will need to buy 4 good straps that secure your feet with such weight because the straps that come with are USELESS.
