Q: Does this need to be refrigerated after opening?

TGHS does not need to be refrigerated after opening, although it’s perfectly ok to do that if you prefer. The product has a two year shelf life from the date of bottling, and since we bottle on a rolling basis (as opposed to a warehouse full of finished product sitting around getting old), you’ll get most of those two years!

Q: What exactly are the 3 flavors?

Hi, Dead Red is a medium-heat red cayenne pepper sauce. Danger Close is a HOT blend of red cayenne and orange habanero peppers. Shock & Awe is a VERY HOT orange habanero sauce. Each bottle contains 86% actual peppers, and all peppers are American-grown. Peppers, salt, garlic and vinegar. Please let us know if you need anything else.

Q: Does anyone know if these are gluten free? my friend loves hot sauce and i would love to get these for him if they are gf.

Thanks for checking in. Although we have not yet submitted the product for formal certification as gluten-free, there is no gluten in our hot sauces. We have a pretty straightforward ingredients roster and the product is all-natural, we are told this certification is a simple formality, and we'll get it done!

Q: Whats the actual scoville rating on these ?

As I'm sure you know, Scoville is tied the peppers used. Cayennes (like Tabasco peppers) hover in the 30-50,000 range, ours our probably in the middle. Habaneros range between 100,000 and 350,000; the habaneros we grow are on the hotter end of this spectrum for sure.
