Very very nice !
Really good sound and tiny! This is however not just a novelty to show friends. The sound is really good and the bass amazing. I bought the 23 watt for use in my woodshop. I'll be purchasing the Bluetooth model for portable use later. These things are really awesome! 20 to 20k hz freq. response. You can really feel the low end of the music.

Distorted
It's ok, when turned up high to hear it, it distorts.

Seems likely to last and good sevice from seller
I bought this vibration speaker _because_ it had several wires, no bluetooth and no battery. Several copies (two of the vibe tribe plus) failed to charge after about a week of use. On another similar model the micro usb port collapsed into the body making it unusable. On this one the plugs for the wires look more substantial and I think the speaker will last. However only time will tell. The seller (Matt at Bright Nerds) was attentive in expediting the shipment and making sure I would be satisfied.

Worst of three typical choices
There are three vibration speakers: ones that have a broader base and a narrow or regular top CableWholesale Bluetooth 4.0 Portable Vibration Induction Sound Speaker for Smart Phone/Tablets/MP3 Players (5002-40100) ; ones that have the same base and top (a cylinder shape) and come with a built-in FM receiver; and then there is this a little bit longer cylinder job. The first two get power from a USB cord and the last is an AC plug in. The first is good, but lacks the remote control and FM radio. Its virtue is it is 26 watts and a little more powerful than the second. It is also a blue tooth device. The second's virtues are a good price with lots of functionality (not a blue tooth though). The last is the worst of the three. It buzzes, has a volume control on the AC cord together with its on/off switch, is not blue tooth, has no radio, and, although it might be a little more powerful than the second, it distorts badly when pushed. All in all the second is the best, unless you want a blue tooth device.

Different that what I thought
OK this little bugger works well if you use the right surface. I placed it in a kitchen cupboard to listen to music while I did dishes and it worked great. Some surfaces are too thick for vibration to work well. My only complaint is all the wires. I thought this was blue tooth and it's not (My error). The speaker plugs into your device like a regular speaker system. It also must be plugged into a wall plug so you are limited on where it can be placed. I also found that the speaker randomly changed pitch so that a song sounds like it changes key mid sentence and then back. That being said the sound was great for how small it is. I would rate it as a great novelty item but maybe not a replacement for other speaker systems.

Mighty Dwarf & Mighty Keg
The Mighty Dwarf and the Mighty Keg is not a conventional speaker, and was produced many years ago before those BT and wireless 360 of today. This Vibro System does not have a voice coil and all those (what you see in speakers as yo know-it), they are the type of speaker used in Submarine and Dwarf was never 26W-RMS, but 20W. The KEG, however, is 26-W, and the more solid the medium is, the better the sound will be, it can even change with a splash of water below-it? Again, as one person said, if you do not mind the electrical and have an apartment, you can find a nice solid side table, shelf or dining table, the more you move it around, you will find your sound you lift it up, and its like almost no sound! But they are awesome, and the manufacturer does not make them anymore, they are solid and heavy, they now produce the light plastic models, wireless and BT, but they can't find 20-26W in those, it will be a myth, they come in 5-12 and may be 15W, and those would not be the true numbers if you ask me, and if you pick up a box of any #1 to #5 top Brand Name 360 Speaker or Dock, see where any of them have more than 2-5-watts! So, FYI, if you are getting one of those METAL Vibro-360 Sound 50mm in dia, be prepared to be a team player, and get into the club of a limited few who will own them. Find the good in that innovation, it is an ultimate conversation piece, a proud to look and hear partner for life, and its the most powerful in its class period! (Until someone comes-up with something to beat-it)!

Finding the right surface????
It sounds awesome ...when you can find the right surface for vibration. We've tried every surface in our living and family rooms (wood, laminate, glass, slate, tile) and it sounded so tinny we couldn't use it....until we tried setting it on grandmas old sewing cabinet - works great there. So now we have the conundrum - do we rearrange the house to put the sewing cabinet where we most listen or return the mighty dwarf.??

Finally, I have a backup Mighty Dwarf!
Bright Nerds is amazing…terrific customer service, fast delivery and of course a Mighty Dwarf, which I’ve been looking for for years. I’m “old school” and I still use an IPod Classic, so when I’m relaxing in the trailer, this is my favourite. Thank you!
