Pentair R141036 127 Tube Thermometer with ABS Case and 3-Feet Cord

This pool thermometer is perfect. The design with the long string to attach makes sure you are getting an accurate reading from mid level, not just near the surface of the water. I tied it to my steps and it goes about half way down my 52 inch high pool. Super easy, just drop it in and it’s ready to go. It seems to be very accurate, picking up even the slightest differences in temperature. Great value for the money.

Love this it’s perfect! We ordered other brands that float on top of the water and found that bugs would gather on top of it and it would get really faded. This was the perfect solution! It stays completely submerged, which also means the temperature reading is more accurate. We tie it right to our pool stairs for easy access. Great value for the money and we’re super happy with it!

Maybe mine was just faulty, but "mercury" stick just floats inside the case, so the temp readings inside the case are useless. Not eligible for return, so just got a refund. Otherwise, case seems well designed and I liked the fact the unit measured 3' depth versus surface temp.

Works as advertised. And the built in weight takes the thermometer down quickly in the water.

I bought 2 at the same time, one to monitor the air and another for the pool temp. I bought both in April and the one that was kept in the pool has broken internally. This is kept by the lifeguard stand and is not played with by children. I would've expected it to last a lot longer than it has. Unfortunately there just aren't many other options offered that are simple like this.

My husband does a lot of swim training in lakes. It's very important to know the current water temperature for a number of reasons. This thermometer is great! And, best of all, it doesn't float!

I use it to check the water temperature in our potable water system. It is easy to read except when there is water beaded on the glass.(just wipe it off). The first one survived being dropped on the ground 3 times, which jarred the seal loose. The water eventually loosened the temperature tube from the indicator background. The next one the blue fluid separated into 3. This one has so far been giving good service. Good product, just don't drop it. It does not float.

Bought this for the lake, seems accurate and easy to read.
