Simple to set up, easy to change later.
Nice little mechanical thermo switch. Just set it and forget it. Don't need a manual every time your want to adjust it. Only wish it where in farenheit. I use it in my homemade tiny camper. It has a couple solar powered "computer" fans to pull the heat out when the sun is beating down. I use this thermostat to turn the fans off when it's cool enough not to need them.

Great product
Works excellent using it to cool variable frequency drive cooling fan. I read one review saying it was a heating instead of cooling. Looks like the cool is blue and heat is read so make sure you get proper one for your application.

Blue does the opposite of what is described.
I ordered the Blue labeled thermostat. It's supposed to be a normally open circuit, which closes when it hits a set temp. The unit I received has the blue dial and the picture on the side of the unit shows a normally open circuit, but it does the exact opposite. It's a normally closed circuit, which opens when it hits the set temperature. Now I have to waste my time & gas to return it.

VERY basic thermostat.
Cute little thermostat but the specs given are not accurate. Setting this thermostat is hit and miss, as the dial doesn't match the output. Also, the specs claim a range of 0 to 60 degrees. I wanted to use this to keep plants from freezing and, wanted to set it to 40 degrees Fahrenheit, (4.5 degrees Celsius). With the thermostat set to zero, it is regulating the temperature at 45 degrees F., (7.2 degrees C.),. Hysteresis, (difference between high and low switching points), is about two degrees - unlike the 15 degrees reported in another review.

Doesn’t work as advertised- blue and red work the same!
First I bought the ‘red’ model on the assumption it was to turn the heat on (close the switch) when the temperature falls below the set temperature. After it arrived and I tested it, it turned out to work in just the opposite manner. After reading some of the reviews I decided to order the ‘blue’ device. Upon arrival I tested it and found out it worked the same way! They both stay connected at the set temperature and above!! I ended up getting a thermostat from the local Home Depot. It’s bigger and better readable.

Might as well buy a timer.
I have been trying to set it up for a week to 25 C (around 70 F) but it has never switched on or off automatically. My goal was to control a fan where temperatures range between 58 and 90. No dice.
