Moog Theremini Bundle with Adjustable Stand, Instrument Cable, and Austin Bazaar Polishing Cloth

This is such an amazing device. I'm totally new to theremin...keep that in mind. Anyhow, I love the options and the sound quality.There is a quiet noise--like a computer fan--when on, but that's not picked up when recording and is very quiet.The only questionable thing--and this may be normal for the theremin, I don't know--if I switch the presets while playing, sometimes it gets stuck on one note and doesn't change sound when I move my hand. If this doesn't resolve on its own quickly (it often does), I quickly twist the note antenna or lift it up slightly and set it back down...then it's fixed.

Wife watched some training videos online before it came. Learned how to set up and calibrate. Then watched hand position trainings.Learning very quickly how to make music, not just noise.Parts all worked well. After previous comments about the adapter being the wrong size, wife was a bit worried, but the adapter was the right size, fits on stand beautifully.We did need a tall stool to sit on. When it is down at hip level on a toddler table at the couch, legs get in the way and cause a pitch difference. Standing also works, but for longer training sessions, it is easier to sit on a tall stool.Speaker cord works well to silence volume when needing to step away and not wanting to affect calibration of instrument. Don't even need any additional speaker to plug it into. The small speaker on top is not affected with the speaker cord being plugged in without additional speakers.One thing that would make it even better, would be a list of the presets and the notes that they play. Some presets play only 2 or 3 different notes, others play only whole notes, others play some whole and some flat or sharp notes. The preset 1, Theremin, plays full range scale.

A great way to start out with the theremin, but also not at all easy to figure out. I've had it for a couple months now and I still have a hard time configuring the settings.

Stand is awesome. The Theremini is awesome. Buyer beware thou: the connecter for the stand to Theremini is the wrong connecter. Purchased a different one when bought because we seen a different review saying it didnt come with it. It did come with it but it is wrong. Just saying someone should contact the seller if this product. Love it though and having loads of fun

I bought the Theremini several months ago, and my son was jealous... so I got him one too. He was blown away. It's a great and totally unique instrument. He tells me that it scares his dog, but otherwise he is totally happy, and I am as well.

Came on time and in great condition. The Theremini is great fun, and a fascinating instrument. Nicely made and with good support from Moog.

If you don't have very study hands this thing is useless. My hands shake some but I can still play the drums. But my shaking is too much for this.
