No, these are not completely leakproof. Due to the thickness of our 8 Mil bags, they are not completely airtight/watertight at the edge of the seal. Our 4 Mil and 2 Mil bags, however, are completely airtight/watertight. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask!
