Q: is this game fun with just two people

It actually is fun with just two people. Just play war style. Flip it quickly and who ever answers correctly first wins that card. When you flip over a link or trivia card just leave it. When the next category card is flipped and answered correctly the person gets all cards underneath.

Better. More fun. More entertaining. More clever.

Q: Would this game work for formerly hip folks in their 60's?

I have played the game with quite a few folks in their 60's. It was developed with the college kid in mind but if you can let loose and have fun you will enjoy playing Quickwits regardless of age!

Q: I watched the video and read the directions, but I don't understand where the players are getting their answers from. Is it me?

Hi Kathy, Basically every card has a symbol and a category on it. When someone else draws a card during the game that he the same symbol as you the both of you have to give an sample of the others category. So if you pulled a card with a money symbol and the category "Brad Pitt movie" and I already had a money symbol card out with the category "hbo show" I would have to yell out "fight club" before you said something like " game of thrones." Whoever answers correctly first gets the opponents card and the next person flips the next card over. Let me know if that's helpful. Once you start playing it's really easy to catch on. Thanks for your question! Also we are kickstarting quickwits two on Monday or Tuesday of next week. If you make an "early bird pledge you can get both quickwits 1 & 2 for less than the original costs on Amazon.
