Terrific die locks
Sure-Loc are the best way to set dies in many presses and dies with a perfect fit and hold quickly, using standard tools. They have a vise like hold and do not ruin the dies threads. This is a well made and thought out item.

These locking rings are far superior to the set screws found on RCBS dies. Very secure when tightened and you can screw the reloading dies into the exact same depth each time.

Must have product for Dillon machines.
The best lock rings you can buy. Once you lock it up, you can take off/ put on easily within specs. The knurling on the nut provides a firm grip. It will save you money without having to buy different tool heads especially on Dillons. Once set up, you will never use a wrench again. A hornady wrench is my next purchase.

The Absolute New STANDARD
These lock rings are simply brilliant and brilliantly simple. To think: I used to tighten down tiny brass inserts in factory lock rings absolutely KNOWING they weren’t going to stay and hold. I guess that’s the definition of stupidity, though: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. That’s how I learned to set up dies, though, so why change what “works?” Enter the Hornady Sure-LOC Lock Rings. Someone thought to themselves, “How about instead of hoping a minuscule brass insert will magically hold a lock ring in place, we physically tighten the ENTIRE lock ring around the die body to increase both the force of the hold and the surface area upon which the hold is applied?” It really is that simply genius. I use these on all of my precision dies and even my non-precision seating dies. They just make life easier. When the lock nut’s properly tightened, the ring will absolutely REFUSE to budge. If it somehow DOES budge, that means the laws of physics no longer apply, so you might wanna grab onto something and hold on... Pro Tips: 1.) Be sure to pick up a compatible wrench, because cool new stuff isn’t as cool without the tools to use it. 2.) When installing a Hornady Sure-LOCK ring on a die for the first time, be sure not to ENTIRELY tighten the lock ring nut right off the bat. If you do, you’ll need industrial-grade hardware to remove your die from your press. Instead, seat your die to the appropriate depth, spin the lock ring down (counterclockwise) until it JUST BARELY touches the top of your press, and barely tighten the lock nut in place. Then, VERY CAREFULLY, rotate both the die and lock ring counterclockwise ½ to ¾ turn - making sure they’re still perfectly aligned in relation to one another, but the lock ring is no longer in contact with the top of your press - and then hoss that lock nut down for good. 3.) Don’t overzealously tighten the lock nut, because you WILL strip the corners out of its Allen/hex head.

Do the job, but see caveat about Lee breech lock press.
Pro: Really solid, and locks down firmly to the die threads. That thing is not going anywhere after it is tightened up. Cons: With a Lee breech lock press, the corners contact the release pin, and it tends to get wedged onto the breech adapter. Solution: Leave the original lee lock rings in place, and screw these down on top of them. Now your depth settings won't move. I don't make use of the breech lock feature and unscrew the die after each operation. So these are good as I know when I screw it back in the dies will be set just like they were the last time.

Bought these to replace the kind of terribly designed RCBS collars which usually don't stay in place. These ones do stay in place very snug allowing you to set your reloading dies, remove them, and later screw them back into your press and have them at least very close to the same result. This is particularly important for seating die to avoid having to find the right bullet depth from scratch every time through trial and error, saving lots of time and frustration. Big improvement over the default RCBS. These fit other brands of dies no problem.
