This is the pet ramp to get
This ramp is incredibly sturdy and stable. It will hold up for many years to come and won't twist or bend at all when deployed to your vehicle entrance or any other environment where your dog may need to climb up to a higher level. This ramp can reduce or eliminate those difficulties, and can even help to prevent the pain that especially plagues older dogs with arthritis or other mobility issues, when they try to jump or climb. It is long enough to really be effective in lowering the angle of the grade for your dog, so he or she can more easily climb up to the height of the entrance to your car, van or truck. Shorter ramps can't do this. Sturdiness, stability and length require this ramp to be fairly heavy to load and unload, although an average adult man or woman should certainly be able to handle it without issue. The ramp's surface is just about perfect - a truly rubbery (maybe real rubber; it feels like it) surface which has small ridges built into it, to make great traction possible for your dog.My family just returned from a 1400 mile journey to another state with our 12.5 year old, 90 pound Giant Schnoodle, who suffers from arthritis and other joint issues, such that he even occasionally collapses because his legs won't support him. He walked up the ramp to the back of our minivan without issue, and the training to make him comfortable to climb up the ramp was easy . The ramp company includes material to help with the training. As you might guess, I think this is a great product, and I highly recommend it.

Great rubberized traction, fold up nicely, only weighs 18.5 pounds and is solid!!!
The media could not be loaded. This is the greatest ramp I have ever had for my 60lb, 15 year old dog who is having trouble getting into and out of cars! It has rubberized striations for paws to grip even if moving slow! To get my dog used to this new idea I had to work with it FLAT with Treats. At first he didn’t want to walk on it so I put little treats on it and he got used to the feel on his paws. Then I put it at the front door where there is a slight incline of two steps. Using treats was rewarding and he seemed to not be bothered. Then we hooked it to the back of my SUV and he just needed help on the steeper incline but lots of praise and he was in the car! He used to love rides, but his back legs have become weaker. He hated being lifted up so this was a perfect solution. It’s about 70” long unfolded. It weighs 18.5 lbs and is easy to unfold by leaving it on it's side and swinging it open. They even have instructions on the sides to “Watch out for your fingers” so they don’t get pinched as you close it up which I think is a positive since I didn’t know that could easily happen. Nothing about this caused my dog any discomfort on his pads. Use it flat on the ground with treats or your dogs favorite tennis ball or toy. Don't expect results after opening the box. Let your dog see you walk on it while it's flat and keep it open in the house or outside for a day. Feed your dog on the ramp while it's flat if you need to! Don't force your dog on it, let them get used to seeing, eating off of, or getting their toy of it while it's flat. This training technique gives them ease when you use it! Don't expect a miracle when you open the box! YOU HAVE TO MAKE A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE WITH IT FIRST! I have been a board certified veterinary nurse for 31 years now and this ramp is on my number one Lists!❤️

Sturdy ramp for large dog
I bought the pet ramp for our female 3 yr old, 70lbs GSD, who had a recent procedure at the vet. I needed the ramp to be able to get our GSD into my Honda Pilot after the procedure. I’ll be honest, it took a few days of practice for me to get into the new routine of using the pet ramp. Our GSD was walking up and down the pet ramp with a few slices of provolone and lots of praise in a matter of minutes! I found the best point of entry into the SUV for our GSD with the pet ramp is the tailgate. The ramp has the best stability propped again the tailgate. After use, I fold the pet ramp and place the ramp into the back of the SUV. I’m 5’ tall and find the ramp fold in the middle of the ramp to be cumbersome and awkward to handle. The ramp is almost as tall as I am. To fold the ramp, I have to lay the ramp on the ground on its side, hold it with one hand to stabilize and stretch my other arm , grab the opposite side and fold. I’m vertically challenged, I get it, I make it work. This is an investment and I use the pet ramp daily with our GSD to get her in and out of my car for our daily drive to the neighborhood park. Long term, use of the pet ramp will only benefit our gsd to reduce wear and tear on her hips/joints. I would definitely recommend the pet ramp! It is sturdy, mobile, and ready to use out of the box. My only recommendation to the manufacturer is add built in braces on the underside of the fold of the ramp that lock in place and with a latch mechanism, similar to an ironing board. Again, I say, it’s an investment; the quality of materials and the ramp itself is worth the money. But, I should not have to pay extra money for small metal braces to keep the ramp open so it doesn’t fold on itself. Simply put, it’s about consumer safety and not about add-ons to get more money from the consumer. Just my 2 cents! Willow (our GSD) and I will happy to test the new and improved ramp!

Heavy duty, unmatched stability
I wish I had this years ago. While it is big and a bit cumbersome, it folds up to a good size, doesnt budge when my 80lb shepherd uses it, and the rubber traction is unmatched and exactly what one needs for peace of mind. If they made it a tad wider, I would buy a second, but still wide enough for a large dog gait as long as you guide them up. Worth it for build quality, stability, and traction 100%.

Good for Small-Med Dogs
Nice ramp. Heavy Duty plastic and handy for transport since it folds in half. No way that it will support 160 lbs though as it starts bending/sagging sags at about 60lbs.
