CYBERNOVA Smart Wireless 2.4GHz WiFi PIR Motion Detection Sensor

My mailbox is at least 30 to 35 ft from the front door of my trailer my router's in the bedroom so considering a metal mobile home and it still works every time reliably it's a pretty darn good device but you do have to change the battery so I would suggest getting a supply of those batteries during the winter you may have to change the battery a couple of times... But again it's worth that troubleOne extra note if you're not mechanically minded you might want to get help installing it in the mailbox it comes with hardware but I had to kind of think about how to get it installed stable and rigid enough

I tried 2 of these. For my use, I was looking to have this in my closet to detect motion so my smart light would turn on. I found that it was either slow to detect motion or it didn't detect motion every time. Also, the app didn't work well with my IFTTT app where I was trying to set everything up.

I tested it in my android and it works as intended but make sure to place it near the router. When triggered, a blue light switch on the device and you receive a notification right away.

It takes about 10 seconds to get a notification. That's not too big of a deal. My problem with it is that it goes through a battery a month. There are many other choices that have much longer battery life.

I love this little motion detector hey to a great job detecting I just set it up outside with three lights and it works great

Just outside the return period and no longer works

Wanted to use it to trigger a light on when we came in the house. It works, unfortunately, the light comes on about 2 minutes later when no one is in the hallway.

Nice sensor but very slow. Detects motion by the time whoever was passing through is long gone. lol
