Best thing I have purchased!
This is my third machine I have purchased in trying to get more fruits and vegetables in my body. However, it is my first juicer. I have been reading, watching documentaries and all that about the benefits of juicing and I am glad I got this one at a discount.The juice is VERY good. It surprised me of how good it taste as well as how it has no pulp whatsoever.There is a lot of pulp. So much so my hubby is thinking I need to go back to making smoothies instead of juices because he doesn't want me to waste so much food. On the other hand, I am finding new things to do with the pulp.It is very easy to clean. I have read about how people are reluctant to juicing because of the clean up process. It is so much simpler than I thought it would. From what I can tell, as long as the mesh is washed immediately after making juice, it should be good.It can be loud, but not as loud as some of my other kitchen appliances!I love it. I love that I have 90 days to return it in case I find something better. But for now, this will do!!***Two years later, and I still LOVE this juicer! I have had no issues with the remanufactured version and it still runs like new! I make sure I clean the filter with baking soda and vinegar within 30 minutes of finishing juicing and run a bag of lemons through it once a week to keep the plastic parts looking clean. It never was stained and the mesh filter is never clogged! It is so easy to assemble and disassemble! I am so glad I went with this one as my first juicer! I am upgrading to a masticating juicer. This is the top of the line of the centrifugal ones!

SO much better than cheaper juicers
I previously ordered and returned a 400W Black and Decker juicer, which I am using as a comparison for this juicer.First off, this makes great juice, and a lot of it. It also does not heat up the juice more than a few degrees, so any claims that the heat is oxidizing your juice are unfounded, it is more likely the exposure to air.This juicer did not leak from any parts, and is significantly quieter than the black and decker, despite being much more powerful. This one sounds kind of like a quieter vacuum cleaner, and also uses air to force the juice out, which is extremely convenient. The black and decker I had top keep tipping to get the juice out.The adjustable speeds really do allow you to get more juice out of your veggies, particularly kale and carrots, of which the other juicer did more shredding than juicing. There were some large pieces of carrot in the pulp tank of this one, but this was on the first use. I think the more I use it the better it will be.It is also significantly more easy to clean, which when you don't have a dishwasher is very convenient.The feed tube is great. It is wide enough to just drop a whole apple down, instead of having to cut it up. Less prep time and faster juicing mean I don't get annoyed with it and stick it in a cabinet.Now the pulp. The pulp from this juicer is NOT dry, but it is not "wet" either. There was no puddle in the bottom of the pulp container, but the pulp was damp. So it extracts a lot more juice than the black and decker, but probably not as much as the Omega I was considering.I also did not have to stop to clean or empty anything when making bulk batches of juice.I also only paid about $130 for it from Amazon, other sellers are ripping you off, charging almost as much as a non-re-manufactured model.I will update this review if any problems arise in the future.

Love it!
Never juiced before, so this is my first machine. But I can't imagine there's much more I'd need. We have a two-year old that loves to watch/"help" make things disappear into the shoot. And drinks almost everything we've made (except the one I couldn't handle either). FYI radishes will overpower your drink pretty quick. I've only stalled the machine once on a whole lemon, but my usual drinks consist of 6 whole carrots, whole cucumber, 3 whole apples, and 2 very large handfuls of kale and spinach. I never run into issues. The speed adjuster worries me, because its more moving parts and to be honest I'm normally at high or low anyway.PROS:- Easy to clean up- Powerful- Well built.CONS:- Tall- Cord can't find a natural place to sit. Always fight it so the machine lays flat. Wish it'd come out the side not the bottom.

I had my reservations about getting another juicer after buying one at walmart(same price range). The other juicer produced soft pulp that seemed wasteful, it was hard to clean the inner chambers, and forget about cleaning that little spout piece, impossible! This one seems to be the antithesis of my previous juicer. Everything wrong with that one seemed to be the best points of this one. I am floored how dry the pulp is on this model! That reason alone is enough to buy this unit(We all know where the real money is spent on these systems, fruits/veggie's aren't cheap!) The speed control I think also helps with how dry the pulp is I believe. Long story short, Love Love Love this Juicer!!! Staying with me for the long haul....edit: Did I mention I love this juicer? YES IT'S THAT AWESOME!

AWESOME PRODUCT!!!!!!!
This Breville has truly surpassed my expectations. I'm blown away by how awesome this product is. I have an Omega which I love, but when I got the chance to use this Breville machine I was truly impressed. I was able to make my juices in such a short amount of time that it would have taken if I was to use the Omega. I have been able to make at least 9 32oz mason jars in about 35-45 mins. The juice taste great despite some false claims that the juice will oxidize faster. Well my juices have been able to last the same amount of time as my Omega which averages 3 days in the refrigerator. Eventhough this machine is refurbished, I truly can't tell where its refurbished as the packaging was great. I had all of my items in the box. It sounded great when I turned it on and once I started to juice with it, there were no problems. I order the extra 3 year warranty on the Breville as well. You are getting great juice from a great product and I will be a supporter of Breville Juicers for a long time. Happy Juicing to you, be well and energized.
