Why did you choose this product over others?: Brilliant bit of kit. I have some very large trees and hedges in my garden and this has made keeping them in check a breeze. Easy to use, cuts through really large branches easily, light enough to use at full extent. I looked at several different makes, but I seem to have made the right choice. The only issue was there were no indications as to how the pole locked into different heights, but managed to figure it out. Will be putting further attachments on my Christmas list.

The quality seemed good. It was not clear how it all fitted together. A more helpful image on the cardboard backing would have helped.

Great product

First off, let me just say that I have a love-hate relationship with gardening. I love the idea of having a beautiful garden, but I hate actually doing the work. So when I was in the market for some new loppers, I knew I needed something that would make the job as painless as possible. These have made pruning my trees feel like a breeze. I mean, I was practically a lumberjack with these things. The blades are so sharp, I was able to trim through high up branches like they were butter. And the grip was so comfortable, I didn't even notice I was holding them for so long (which, let's be real, I probably shouldn't have been doing). Overall, I would highly recommend the Wolf lopping pruners to anyone who wants to make gardening a little less of a pain in the you-know-what.

I have had one of these for over 15 years and it is brilliant! Depending on the density of the wood obviously, it cuts so well. This one I brought for my son-in-law to help clear his overgrown garden. He was impressed and we were almost fighting over who was going to use it! I use it every year to keep a magnolia in check as it seems to want to double its size each year. Good quality and good value for the money.

I wish it had a easy way to lock the blades closed with out having to loop/tie the cord around it. If it was not for this one thing I would have gave it 5☆.

I'm lucky enough to have several mature hardwood trees in my garden. This makes pruning them a breeze. I don't mind climbing but using tools at height is more difficult than from the ground. This cuts Oak easily and the secateurs make light work of inch thick branches. Highly recommended.

A good product and yes they are easy to use. As I'm a little older now they save time from using the ladders. Not cheap but good quality.
