Q: Just received my set. Two arrived stuck together. I have tried everything to separate them, but they won't cooperate. How can they be separated?

Put cold water in the one on top and pour hot (not boiling, though) water around the lip of the bottom one, where the two are stuck together. That should cause the lower/outer one to expand slightly while the top one doesn't.

Q: Could these take 90 seconds of a microwave?

Q: Are these straight-sided? Are the dimensions of the top the same as the bottom?

No they are not straight sided. I know exactly what you mean, and prefer the straight sides myself, but these particular ones do have a slight angle to the sides (more narrow at the bottom). A lot of the smaller bins in this collection do have straight sides, but not the larger/taller ones.
