i had high hopes for this. unfortunately it had a bad battery and i had to return it.waited 3 weeks for delivery. battery was completely discharged upon arrival. sat it on a charger for 12+ hrs. unplugged from charger, wouldn't turn on. plugged back into charger, turns on and shows 10% battery life but turns off immediately after unplugging. continued to charge and won't go above 10%.

Add-on is very minimal and appearance is great. Tested phone call and it worked great from the headset. Out of the box I had some slight Bluetooth connectivity issues but might've been because the battery was discharged. I did charge it for a good 2 hours and it still died on me during setup but after letting it charge overnight....it seems to be just fine now.

Well as another review suggested, you will DEFINITELY want to charge this adapter over night. At first, I tried charging it for only 4 hours, and thought it was a defective unit so I returned it. It died immediately after unplugging. But, I did as another reviewer suggested and it works just fine. Latency is very minimal and the signal strength is good for at least 15 feet, which is surprising. Overall, it’s solid for the price point. Can’t complain.

I was really hoping to like this item, simply for the freedom of going wireless. But I've tried it for over a week now and I'm pretty disappointed. Simply put, the battery lacks sufficient power to adequately push the ATH-M50x drivers, or even sustain the bluetooth signal without frequent drops from more than just a few feet away.To be fair, It's not actually horrible if you're connected to a smart phone at close range. But ATH-M50x headphones really need more amplification (ideally, from a home stereo amplifier) to reach their true audio potential. And although this device is advertised as an "amplifier" it is way too weak to fulfill that purpose.My main reason for buying this item was to listen to my home stereo amplifier wirelessly. And in that regard, this product fails pretty miserably. The problem is two-fold. First, the decrease in audio quality is substantial as compared to a wired setup; the bass becomes really weak, the mids convoluted, and even the highs aren't very clear, though I'm not sure if that's due to lossy bluetooth compression or because of the distortion introduced by this product, or both.And perhaps most annoyingly, the bluetooth signal cuts out whenever I move more than a few feet away from the amplifier. I own a pair of earbuds with which I can move about freely around the house and they never lose the bluetooth signal, plus the sound quality is actually better with earbuds.In conclusion, I give this product a failing grade. It's underpowered, too weak to adequately push the headphone drivers and too weak to maintain a decent bluetooth signal beyond a very close range.

This piece is only really useful for listening to music on your phone assuming you don't have music with multiple channels nor audio playing at the frequencies a pair of ATH-M50x actually supports. This thing will cut out entirely if you have multiple sources of audio on the same device playing at once. If you use this on PC it will 100% mess up windows sound settings, and, if you use Voicemeeter, it will break until you reboot. It has poor signal retention and will cut out audio if your arm comes between it and your audio device.

Product works great. Battery life is great. My only complaint would be the Bluetooth range. If you walk 6-7 feet Away from your device or TV it will disconnect. Other than that it’s prefect!

Was a hassle to make turn on and still didn’t sound right. Please save yourself and don’t get this.
