I'm afraid we bought these for another purpose than dental. (Actually, fishing lures, lol). Sorry cannot help.

Q: are these for class 2 overbite?

I am actually not certain. You can definitely use these for Orthodontic purposes, however, we sell them as a hair company. ~ Doctored Locks Hair Inc.

Q: What size are these the description says 1/4 inch then down below it says .5 inch which would be half an inch?

They are 1/4 " I use them for my dogs top knot. Hope this helps

Q: Are these the the elastics given to you by the dentist? Did the package you get match exactly what was in the photos?

yes the package matched exactly. as to whether they are the exact ones given by my orthodontist, I can't say for sure because it had been so long since i'd been, but except that the ones he used to give me were black and these are white they seem to do exactly what they used to do which is to close the gap in my two front teeth.
