Gordon Parks: A Harlem Family Hardcover – January 15, 2013

I was impressed with the packaging. The seller took pride in making sure the book arrived in good condition. The book was wrapped in original packaging. Brand new. The pictures are lovely. So glad I purchased.

Enjoyed this photography book. It's a nice size for the coffee table. The pictures told a story and didn't even need words. However, I liked that the original Times article was included.

I was really surprised at how large this book really was; coffee table style. I've always wanted the photos of Gordon Parks. Although this book concentrates on one family, the photos really depict the style of Gordon Parks. His story in photos resonates with people who can identify with this family. I'm glad Amazon offered this.

As I grew up in the shadows of Gordon Parks photography, his photography has inspired me to make my own documenty work on families in Spanish Harlem. Harlem Family is one my favorite books. Joseph Rodriguez

Buon formato, copertina cartonata, quindi ottima veste grafica. Le riproduzioni interne sono di qualità; nelle ultime pagine c'è una interessante riproduzione del servizio apparso su Life.
