Very easy to assemble
Very simple, easy to build playpen. The only minor issue was there were a couple of pieces of splintered wood on a piece of the pole that almost gave me a splinter and could've injured my bird. Again, it was a minor issue that didn't take away from the whole product which, in my opinion is pretty good overall.

Great way to keep the millet in the cage
I had previously had devices to attach the millet to the side of the cage, and invariably the hulls and dropped seed ended up all over the floor as well as the bottom of the cage. The birds also enjoyed chewing up anything I attached the millet with unless it was metal. This device allows me to put the millet in the middle of the cage, and the extra falls to the bottom. It also holds the millet, even when a lot of it has been eaten. A terrific idea!

Close the latch after placing treat inside...
Initially we really enjoyed this and so have our two parakeets. But beware 😟there is a latch to close after placing millet inside(or whatever treat you choose) the one I put inside today was longer than the toy so I didn't close it. I was gone for about two hours and came home to find my boy parakeet stuck inside, lifeless. Such a sad sad afternoon. Just make sure to close the latch.😞

NOT FOR PARAKEETS!!!
Beware that a parakeet can get trapped inside! I loved this feeder when I hung it horizontally at the bottom of the cage with wire. My parakeet would access the feeder while on the bottom of her cage. BUT I upgraded to a tall cage to accommodate another parakeet. I then hung this feeder vertically (like it is meant to be installed) on the side of the cage and near perches. My parakeets would climb all over it eating millet. Yesterday I couldn't see my new bird until I looked closely and he was upside down, head first completely inside the millet holder and enclosed like a mummy. The only way to get him out was to stretch (like a spring) both ends of the holder while my bird wiggled himself between the stretched wires. I was very lucky that he was unhurt. It could have ended badly. I will not take a chance my birds will do this again. Into the garbage it goes. Parakeets are too small for this feeder.
