Installed into a 1970's Volkswagen bus. Fitment was easy and the low profile gave a super clean look. With LED H4 bulbs the beam pattern filled the road very well. The cutoff doesn't blind opposing drivers and there was little light bleed.

The face was flatter than I expected and they came without bulbs. But after installing quality bulbs, my 40 years old car has fantastic illumination. It’s much safer and enjoyable to drive now.

Real glass, seems to be decent quality, pattern appears sharp but the cutoff looks upside down (?). Had to cut the center of the rear rubber piece to fit over the LED bulbs I got, stock H4 probably would have been fine. Best part is I got to tell my kids that my car is Hella lit now LOL!! Ah, dad jokes.

The description is a little vague, so I'll add few missing bits. The light comes without a bulb, so you have to purchase H4 bulb separately (Hella H83140101, for example). It is still cheaper to purchase the light and bulb separately then buying a whole kit. It also does not have a parking (city) light. The shape of the beam is correct for the left hand drive cars (steering wheel on the left) and right hand traffic (driving on the right side of the road). They are E-codes and are not DOT certified, so "only for off-road use" in US. Yeah, right... :) These lights are not made in Germany, but are made in Romania. Do not know that is good or bad, just stating a fact. The quality of the lights seems OK. Some sellers here on amazon are selling the lights for the cars driven on the "wrong" side of the road (UK, Australia, Japan, etc), you can verify the features and compatibility by visiting Hella online catalog and searching for the part number.

El producto: Faro principal H4 redondo de 7 pulgadas, con la óptica exterior de cristal, algo más "plana" que otros modelos. Es de dos funciones, cortas y largas, no lleva luz de posición. Incluye el capuchón trasero de goma, pero no incluye ningún tipo de tornillería ni la bombilla (la que se ve en las fotos se la he puesto yo para hacer la reseña y que no le entrase suciedad durante el proceso). Además, interiormente, lleva una caperuza deflectora, digo esto porque hay bombillas H4 de diferentes tamaños y si es muy larga, no encajará porque tocará en la caperuza. El uso: En mi caso, se ha usado para la restauración de un Land Rover Santana, el vehículo venía de origen con unos faros R2, que no alumbraban nada. Con estos faros se ha actualizado el alumbrado a H4, eso si, se ha tenido que adquirir aparte el soporte circular necesario (de 7 pulgadas) para la instalación en el vehículo. Cosas buenas: Calidad general del producto. Viene con las letras de homologación necesarias para pasar la ITV. Cosas malas: No le he encontrado ninguna. Cosas mejorables: El embalaje por parte del proveedor es un poco deficiente para algo que es de cristal. Se echa de menos un poquito de papel burbuja o espuma porque he comprado dos y han llegado sanos de milagro. Saludos.

Die Scheinwerfereinsätze machen einen hochwertigen Eindruck und passen perfekt für meinen Lada Niva. Einzig die 3 Führungsschlitze am Scheinwerferring habe ich mit einer Flachzange etwas nach innen erweitert, die Aktion war aber in wenigen Minuten erledigt. Dann passten sie wie von selbst. Die Staubschutzkappen werden sicher ihren Zweck erfüllen, auch wenn man bedenkt das vorher gar keine vorhanden waren. Das Licht ist nun eindeutig besser, vor allem in der Breite. Die Straßenränder werden nun wesentlich mehr ausgeleuchtet.
