Yes, I have had (and used) mine for roughly a year and a half now (I paint 2-3 times a week). As long as you rinse them off they are reusable for sure.

Q: Can these be used for cookie decorating?

I would NOT use these for cookie decorating because the bristles flake off quite frequently and so does the blue on the handles. I wouldn't want that to get in or on your cookies in any way. Not for food in my opinion.

Q: Does the paint peel off the handles?

Paint will peel off of any brush handle if it is left in water too long allowing it to absorb up into the wood. There are great quality brushes!

Q: Can these be used for pottery?

I would imagine so, I use them to paint little ceramic piggy banks and I have used them on terra cotta pots for craft projects.
